Elegant Destruction

A phoenix,

The most elegant, graceful, benevolent creature there was that roamed this globe

Its crown,

Pride radiating,

Daring unmatched by those who seek conquest

Unflinching at danger, for the ability of infinite

But finite in shape

It's a great paradox,

Breaking all mathematical and physical boundaries

Its Throat,

Selective of the best,

Water that shined like gold,

Apples that bear ripe its red blossom,

Never green

For it flared paradise on all those that touch,

Spoken in the same line as wealth, comfort, luxury, and

Hope in its finest

How could something as magnificent as thee be expressed beyond pure emotion?

Its Nostrils,

Breathed the freshest air,

Never taking a whiff of the impure, dirty ground it touched upon

For that was deemed vulgar, unworthy

Of the vigorous lung that sustained

Something untouchable

Its mighty wings,

Carrying across stretches unfathomable,

Beat against the harsh current of nature,

Always sustaining amidst any condition

Dwelling, always near the rim of chaos,

Never swept up, invariably

Thrusting

Onward

Its Tail,

Always preyed upon by unsuspecting vampires

For it was the balance,

The vitality of life itself

Something as magnificent as thee swelled in abundance

Once

But the once peaceful idolizers believed otherwise,

A sign of god said they,

Sweep the foundation and select the one

The rest unworthy to be called thee itself

The whole forest reverberated,

Causing chaos

Famine

Now, only a few remained.

The "pure" ones in the eyes of the rash beholder

The forest once plenty

Paid the dues

The once glorious world cascaded into dawn,

One step closer,

To pure

Brutality.

Context

Usually I would cite the context here, but decided against it. For I have found that the beauty is in exploration, not comprehension. If you do wish to know the context, I have posted it as a comment.

  1. This piece was meant as the historic religious persecution erasing so many cultures leaving the masses limited truth. From a Christian perspective, religion is a choice and this hasn't historically been the case. I hope you understand religion from a different perspective and hold love in your heart for everyone!

The Shatter

There was a community, The splendid ballads that sang Rich and poignant melodies Symbolizing the history, But a driven character The pulse was firm and joyous Equilibrium reached new heights Yet, — — It wasn’t perfect Far from here, He who lies awake While others sleep He who plots to take, But never gives The very own, Lucifer himself — — is discontent Requesting God for a favor, Lucifer slily remarked, “This pitiful nation of yours is incomplete Without -challenge, — suffering, — -agony, — — temptation How can civilization understand your grace?” So, God grants him One Week Contemplating his choice, Lucifer examined the greats, Fall of the Roman Empire, Ottoman Empire, Mongol Empire But settles on a distinct approach His strategy incorporated Hardships Isolation Misinformation After all, Lucifer preferred to look elegant, — -While cunning Droughts, Quakes, Gales, Shaped the once vibrant community Nowhere was the morning dew, Welcoming the splendors of each day, The Forest now cracked...

The Lone Wolf

A joyous wolve,  Dwindled to the mud running down its leg From birth, a festive life lies ahead. The thrill of the pursuit  Weighed more than what the pack seized, For there was consistent food Ready at dinner's desire Brother and brother, Sisters and sisters, Joined hands for what was the final time unity Shaped this youthful pack For order established, Meant unequal roles And no longer can one look from eye to eye As implementation took place, Jealousy and Lust was always on the back of the minds  Of less fortunate wolves Hateful looks fill from place to place, Nowhere to hide As there need be hunters and mothers, But always must the lone wolf stay back Leading from astray, Leaders always dictated never being seen From accomplishing inferior tasks, For will mark the insignificance of a leader So higher always meant isolation, From the thrills of daily life, From the joy of parenthood, Always must remain vigilant, pack said, And always must the lone wolf answer Cra...

Why death?

A river, The calming currents A sign of peace Life cultivates ubiquitous along its reach In refreshing summer, It supplies a bath and vitality itself For small and big creatures alike A chance to escape Mother Nature's harsh glares In frosty winter, Beneath the hard frost Always a surplus of fish discovered The spot where the Most life dwells A creator in and of itself Its immense arms stretch leagues Depositing ecosystems of which it is Fundamental Not the grueling sun or frigid winter  Can obstruct its route But solely one thing can, Divine intervention Abaddon witnesses life as a whole  And hearty like the sun Reels in hatred For he sought to ruin creation in and of itself A barren wasteland,  His signature of presence He then created Drought. All life wilted, Innocent life who lived for joy, The birds would sing beautiful Touches of melancholy music Nature at its finest shriveled The best and worse For dark things did dwell here But they were inconsequential to ...
